23 Lanceston Place
Lagom required a temporary works design for a prime central London redevelopment involving the removal of all internal floors and layouts while retaining the external walls and timber roof. An initial proposal by another chartered engineer suggested full facade retention, but Julija developed an alternative strategy: a carefully coordinated sequence for installing the new structure with the existing building, which eliminated most temporary works. Only Acrow props were needed to support the timber roof, significantly reducing costs, complexity, and disruption while preserving the building’s external character.
